A data breach at the virtual pet website Neopets resulted in the theft of source code and a database holding the personal data of over 69 million users.

On a hacking site, the hacker TarTarX started selling data for 4 Bitcoins, or around $90,500.
Along with usernames, emails, and passwords, stolen information also contains the user’s date of birth, zip code, gender, and nationality.
